As an AIA component or firm, are you prepared to
provide the guidance needed with the transition to ARE®
4.0? Candidates must have passed at least one division in ARE 3.1
by May 15, 2008, to continue testing in 3.1. This means that ARE
4.0 is finally upon us: those who passed a test in 3.1 will have
one year to finish and those who have not yet passed a test will be
placed in ARE 4.0. The AIA national component wants to help by
providing you the resources below.

ARE 4.0 on its Web site, including a timeline and that shows how
the two tests relate to each other. The content of the test is not
changing, the order in which the information is portrayed is.
NCARB's chart will show you how the information from 3.1 is
distributed into 4.0.
